Before creating this platform, I was the one searching for help. I tried therapy, medications, and lifestyle changes—but nothing stuck. The hardest part wasn’t admitting I needed help. It was finding care that actually fit into my life.

Like many people, I had a job, family, and obligations that made it impossible that made it impossible to step away for taking care of my own mental health, especially for hours or days on end. The system wasn’t designed for people like me—people who were struggling quietly while still showing up every day.

What finally worked wasn’t a breakthrough drug or a luxury retreat. It was accessible, consistent, online care. I could connect with licensed professionals from home, stay accountable, and get real results without disrupting my life. That experience changed everything.
It also exposed a a bigger truth: most people don’t need more barriers to care—they need fewer. So I built Compassion Recovery to close that gap. Our mission is simple—to connect people with trusted, effective online mental health resources so getting help is as easy as opening your laptop.
One of my favorite quotes that was top of mind when going through therapy was "the best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is today."

Likewise, it would have been better to start earlier and face my issues head on. But,
